We are talking about the purchase of attack and reconnaissance FPV drones on radio control. As emphasized in the department, this is one of the main types of drones that the Defense Forces use to perform combat missions at the front.

It is noted that unlike procurement by specific names of products, the list of which is formed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ministry of Defense, procurement by tactical and technical characteristics allows AOZ contract different models of drones, if they meet the established requirements.

Procurement according to tactical and technical characteristics allows attracting more manufacturers, ensuring equal conditions for participation and uniform quality standards. At the same time, the procurement will be carried out in compliance with safety rules and protection of information about participants and enterprises of the military-industrial complex, the Ministry of Defense stressed.

Radio-controlled FPV drones are divided into classes depending on the key characteristics. Each lot is a combination of six parameters: the frame size, the presence of additional guidance, the type of communication, the type of camera, the frequency of the video transmitter, the frequency of the signal receiver.
