Since the beginning of the year, the Ministry of Defense has codified 32 middle strike UAVs. They provide strikes on the enemy's operational rear, in particular the destruction of its logistics.

Since the beginning of 2026, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has codified and allowed the use of 650 unmanned aerial systems in the Defense Forces, most of which are Ukrainian-made. — Ukrinform.

Among all types of UAVs, the most codified impact copters are 238 new samples. This is a relatively inexpensive and high-precision weapon for defeating enemy manpower and equipment on the front line.
In addition, 231 UAVs with a fiber-optic control channel are approved for use. The main advantage is resistance to hostile electronic warfare.
42 new interceptor drones also replenished the arsenal of Ukrainian defenders. They play an important role in modern air defense, ensuring the effective destruction of enemy drones, while having a relatively low cost.
At the same time, nine deep strike drones were allowed to be used in the Defense Forces. The presence of drones of this type makes it possible to strike deep into the territory of the Russian Federation, increasing the price of war against Ukraine for the enemy.
