According to Ukrinform, this is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

"At the initiative of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the possibilities of preferential lending for enterprises of the military-industrial complex have been expanded. The maximum loan amount for working capital replenishment has been increased from UAH 100 million to UAH 500 million. The relevant resolution was adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, "the statement reads.

As noted, the new conditions will allow Ukrainian manufacturers to attract more funding to ensure the production cycle, purchase components and materials, as well as scale up the production of weapons and military machinery

Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Hvozdiar explained that the growth of the capabilities of the Ukrainian defense industry directly depends on the access of enterprises to sufficient financial resources.

"The new conditions give manufacturers more opportunities for uninterrupted execution of state contracts, scaling up the production and increasing the production of Ukrainian weapons," Hvozdiar said.

Such manufacturers will be able to attract up to UAH 500 million to replenish working capital, but not more than the amount of the state contract in progress. This will allow enterprises to obtain the necessary financial resources to purchase materials and components and ensure the production cycle before the completion of the contract and receipt of payment for the delivered products.
