Oleksandr was born on February 13, 1962 in Magnitogorsk, Russia. The school graduated in 1979 in Rozdilna, Odesa region. In the same year, he entered the Odessa Medical School No.3.

According to colleagues, Oleksandr was a doctor from God. He put patients first, often even neglecting his rest. The most professional surgeon I have worked with, "recalls Ivan Chernenko, a colleague from the Rozdilnyanska Multidisciplinary Hospital.

In his spare time, Oleksandr also liked to fish, cook adjika and smoke meat. He also brought his goodies to his brothers at the front.

Doctors in Feofania, the capital, fought for Oleksandr's life for three months, but on October 17, a man died from the consequences of his injury.

Context

In 1982-1984, he completed military service, after which he studied at the Odessa Medical Institute. In 1990, he graduated as a surgeon, after which he worked at the Rozdilna Railway Hospital until 2015. At the same time, he tried to mobilize back in 2014, but the man was booked because of a lack of specialists in the medical institution.

Since 2015, he became the head of the surgical department at the Rozdilna Multidisciplinary Hospital. In 2018, he became a volunteer at the First Volunteer Mobile Hospital named after Mykola Pirogov (PMSH). Before the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he carried out six rotations, in between which he operated on patients in Razdilna.

What's next

At the beginning of the full-scale war, Oleksandr had already reached the age of 60. Because of this, he was refused mobilization, but the man continued to serve as a volunteer. Since February 2022, he has conducted 18 rotations in PFMSH.
