Context
In 1982-1984, he completed military service, after which he studied at the Odessa Medical Institute. In 1990, he graduated as a surgeon, after which he worked at the Rozdilna Railway Hospital until 2015. At the same time, he tried to mobilize back in 2014, but the man was booked because of a lack of specialists in the medical institution.
Since 2015, he became the head of the surgical department at the Rozdilna Multidisciplinary Hospital. In 2018, he became a volunteer at the First Volunteer Mobile Hospital named after Mykola Pirogov (PMSH). Before the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he carried out six rotations, in between which he operated on patients in Razdilna.
What's next
At the beginning of the full-scale war, Oleksandr had already reached the age of 60. Because of this, he was refused mobilization, but the man continued to serve as a volunteer. Since February 2022, he has conducted 18 rotations in PFMSH.
