Vlad was born on January 7, 1999 in the village of Povorsk, Kovel district, Volyn. According to the mother of the defender, Ms. Elena, the guy was a leader in life, from early childhood he dreamed of flying, he embodied his dreams in drawings, one of which he dedicated to his father for his birthday. Thefamily lived in a military town where training flights were commonplace, and Vlad loved to watch planes.

Since 2021, the young officer served as a pilot-navigator of the helicopter unit in the 12th separate mechanized brigade named after Viktor Pavlenko in the city of Novyi Kalyniv in the Lviv region. With the outbreak of the Great War, Vladyslav, without hesitation, joined the combat missions, defended his country and family. On February 24, he called his wife and said that they were called to work.

Vladyslav performed the first tasks in the southeastern direction. The brigade carried out combat sorties, regular rotations to the east of Ukraine – to the epicenter of the war, took part in evacuation flights from occupied Mariupol.

Senior Lieutenant Vladyslav Levchuk was killed on December 11, 2022 during a combat mission in Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region. Together with him, two brothers were killed – crew commander Maksym Fedorov and on-board technician Vitalii Markevych.

Context

After the ninth grade, the young man entered the Volyn Regional Lyceum with enhanced military and physical training named after the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred. There he was the captain of the team of pre-conscription training of young men, which took prizes in competitions among military lyceums of Ukraine. After graduating from the Lyceum in 2016, Vlad entered the Ivan Kozhedub Kharkiv National University of the Air Force, studied at the Department of Flight Operation and Combat Use of Helicopters of the Flight Faculty.

In 2017, when Vladyslav was in his second year, his father, also a military man, a participant of the ATO/JFO, died, and he, as the eldest son, became a support and support for his mother, younger brother and sister.
