According to Ukrinform, this was announced by the spokesman of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Dmytro Pletenchuk on television.

According to him, one of the reasons is the work of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, because of which the Russian military is forced to take into account the risks during the departure of ships at sea.

First of all, this is the work of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other components of the defense and security forces, "Pletenchuk said.

He noted that the russian military actually chooses between the risk of submarines going to sea for launches and the refusal of such use.

"They are faced with a choice: risk their wallet and make empty reports, or still risk going to sea and launching from the appropriate launchers. They choose the former, it is considered less dangerous for them, although, of course, the risk is always present, "the spokesman said.

Context

At the same time, Pletenchuk suggests that the situation may be affected by the technical condition of Russian ships. According to him, after the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia failed to create a sufficient base for their proper maintenance.

"Thefifth year, in fact, without normal docking, can leave some imprint on the mode of operation, because, I remind you, before that, they operated their combat units in a rather rigid mode, in particular submarines, sometimes even three went on duty, carried out launches in accordance with the combat position, but this cannot happen indefinitely, "Pletenchuk said.
