A Polish citizen was notified of suspicion of molesting Ukrainian children. Currently, it is known about five injured minors, whom the Pole, according to the investigation, prompted to create pornographic content. — Ukrinform.
This was announced by the Migration Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"A Pole sent materials of sexual abuse of children to minors and encouraged them to produce pornographic content with their own participation. Thanks to international cooperation, law enforcement officers documented his actions and collected evidence for criminal prosecution, "the police said.
The identity of the defendant was established by operatives of the Migration Police Department in cooperation with law enforcement agencies of the United Kingdom and Poland. Using an analysis of open sources and specialized tools, the police identified the accounts that the man used to communicate with victims on social networks and messengers, according to notification.
Further actions were agreed with foreign partners with the participation of Europol representatives. As part of international legal assistance, Polish colleagues received materials collected during the investigation in Ukraine, the police explained.
Polish police detained this man and searched his place of residence.
