The widow of Volodymyr Vysotsky died: the actress was 88 years old

French actress Marina Vladi, known as the last wife of musician Vladimir Vysotsky and a star of European cinema, has died at the age of 88.

The artist's death became known on September 24. Relatives reported that Maryna Vlady spent the last minutes at home, next to loved ones and pets. Over a decade of hercareer, the actress has played in about a hundred films.

A special place in the creative biography of Vladi was taken by the role in the film "The Married Bed" by Marco Ferreri. For this work, in 1963, she received the award for Best Actress at the Cannes Film Festival. The actress also starred in the Orson Welles film Falstaff and worked with Jean-Luc Godard.

However, for millions of viewers, the name of Maryna Vlady is forever associated not only with cinema, but also with Volodymyr Vysotskyi. They met in 1967 and married three years later. Their marriage lasted until Vysotsky's death in 1980.
