The President of Finland urged Musk to expand Starlink coverage for Ukraine

It is noted that with the approach of winter, Ukraine is experiencing an acute shortage of air defense equipment to repel Russian ballistic attacks. Ukrainian officials believe that providing access to Starlink on Russian territory would help target enemy missile launchers.

“That's why… I ask Elon Musk to provide Ukrainians with the opportunity to use Starlink in areas where ballistic missile launchers are located — both in the occupied territory of Ukraine and in Russia — for strategic purposes, because it it will save lives, ”the Finnish leader said.

According to him, given the approach of winter, Ukraine needs three things.

"Firstly, these are air defense systems, and even Starlink could be a good air defense system to some extent. These are the things we are working on. We are working on the preparation of the winter package, because I do not see that the war will end, you know, before the onset of winter, "Stubb said.
