At about 01:50 on Sunday, September 20, a resident of the village of Berezlodzhi turned to the police of the Moldovan city of Orgii, who said that he had noticed a flying object in the sky that looked like a drone.
The police officers went to the sites and checked the specified areas, in particular outside the settlements.
"During the checks and inspection of the area, no debris, impact traces or fires were found that could confirm an explosion on the ground or the fall of any object," the police said.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova condemned the unauthorized flight of a drone-like aircraft in the country's airspace.
"Such an incident is an unacceptable violation of the airspace of our country and poses a direct threat to the security of citizens," the Moldovan Foreign Ministry stressed.
