Opposition representatives called for the return of competitive conditions for the election of the Prosecutor General, abandoning "political appointments".

At the same time, it is still not known who currently performs the dutiesof the Prosecutor General from the moment when President Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed Kravchenko from this position the day before.

Ruslan Kravchenko, against the background of the investigation of the NABU and the Sapo about the "protection" of call centers, filed a letter of resignation from the post of Prosecutor General.

At the same time, on September 14, the Prosecutor General said that he had signed a suspicion against NABU Director Semen Kryvonos and accused NABU and Sapo of seizing the materials of proceedings against their employees during searches within the framework of the special operation "Carthage" in order to suspend procedural decisions in these cases.
